My cousin Charles went into a coma today, I'm afraid he is finally giving up the battle he has fought for the last two years. I'm not sure how to handle this...
I have dreams
Beautiful vivid dreams
About what should be
I dream about peace
And children safe and sound
I dream of happiness
And enough to eat for all
I dream of love
Enough to go around
And most of all
I dream of time
Enough to do it all
To say what needs to be said
To say I love you one more time
To say you mean so much to me
And you’ll always be in my heart
I dream of time
And time is running out
So let me say it one more time
I love you
And always will

My prayers are with you in this sad time. I too dream of a place such as this...I call it heaven...but the really wondeful thing about heaven is life eternal,no pain, no sickness, only joy and peace and we can spend it with each other...and it's free! I will say a prayer for you and your cousin. Your poem is beautiful and so heart felt....
