Your poem reminds me of the lines in one of John Lennon's songs called "Beautiful Boy"..."Life is what happens to us while we busy making other plans." I really enjoyed your poem!

love the lines
"life is what happens to us
while we are waiting on our dream to come true"
but feel there is something more we can/must do
wise words of patience and more in here.......

i like this but worry about the wait bit. how long? wait or work hard and wait at the same time? do things happen or do we make them happen or both? no easy answer out there. thanks for sharing
