Two things I never discuss...politics and religion...I just broke one rule on my blog...this is as close as I will probably come to the other.

Death has stopped scaring me
I used to look forward to it
With all the terror
Of a five year old
Looking into a dark closet
Fear of the unknown
The inevitable
The horror of big hairy monsters
Under the bed
Knowing there was no escape
No way to know what to expect
Fear
The cold, creepy kind
That only the young can know
But it’s gone
Oh I still don’t want to go
I’ll still postpone it as long as I can
But the fear is gone
I’ve found the answer
That takes it away
I’d give it to you if I could
The answer I mean
But you know what it is
And you know how to find it
It may be different for everyone
But I doubt it
You just have to look
Deep down
And you’ll find it too
