I wrote this to chide my sister about always being right and seeing me as always being wrong...i wonder if she is right? Never mind
Push me, pull me
Feel free
I’ll never go the right way
On my own
I have a built in instinct for wrong
Wrong way
Wrong time and place
Wrong words
It’s the one thing I can get right
I’m usually wrong
I try
But never very hard
It’s just in my nature to do it this way
And I have so many years
Of practice
At being wrong
What a waste if suddenly I started being right
Without your help, of course
So go ahead
Push me to do the right thing
And I probably will
Just because you were there
And kept me in line
Push me, pull me
But make sure you are right
I can be wrong on my own

Hmmn interesting way to look at things but I think should not always allow someone to so easily control. The last two lines show though that you will only allow control to go as far as you choose to let it go.
