I spend a lot of time thinking
Not rocket science
I’ll never be one of the great minds
I just don’t have the smarts
Or the desire
I think about life though
And all the people in it
The ones I’ve loved
And left behind
The ones yet to come
And where I’ll go from here
I wonder why and how
And what and who
No I’ll never be one of the great minds
But I do think about you
And me
And things yet to come
Random looks at past present and future with an eye as to where we are, how we got here, and where we are going is always somehting good to look at. You show this in this work and it is one of your better poems. I like it.
Your Outside The Box meets with all my projections and tangents, too, Sue. Thoughts are never shallow when they are about the future... or the past... or even, the now. Nice meditation of all you hold dear. May they (and you!) prosper. TY Kate xx
