Alex, your poem inspired this one...

You push me away
I come running back
Do I like pain
Enjoy bleeding for you
You make the hurt so sweet
An unbearable agony
That I bear so well
You hurt me
And then you kiss it all better
And I melt into a puddle
Of yes

Such intriguing lines: well done, Sue. Putty in their hands, puddles at their feet: control issue, perhaps? In any event, an excellent write.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Sue I am glad you visited me so now I know where you are, Nice write although it is sad, because love should never hurt, they say love is blind and therefor when we can't see no further we end up hurting. We melt when we are blessed with true love. thank you for sharing.

this poem is not really about me but it is also not about abuse, which i would never joke about, it is just about that pain that love always brings, the insecurity, the missing him, the little pains that hurt so much but are so inevitable...sue

And around and around we go . . . Been there . . . Donit . . . I truly believe that the word love came from the depths of hell, because it is such a nasty bit of emotional force which usually winds up giving up much more pain than it does L-O-V-E!!! . . . But then I'm a cynical S.O.B . . .
