My mother once told me some races Are won one inch at a time I didn’t agree with her then and I haven’t Learned much since then, I still want to jump in with both feet, I want yards Not inches, I want change not influence Hell, I guess I still just want..want..want And I don’t know how to change that I’m not sure how to be satisfied with half a glass, with some happiness, with a bit of love I want it all or nothing, and as a result Often end up with nothing, but that’s just me I don’t want to place or show, I want to win I want the whole nine yards, the fully monty I want to live to the fullest and anything less Just seems like a waste of a lot of living And one hell of a lot of loving Does anyone else agree with me or am I just Pissing against the wind ….again

Sue, is there any reason why you should settle for less? Some are perfectly content to settle and others see beauty in what they have. It is not the case for everyone but if living life to the fullest is the only way you can find happiness, then, there should be no reason to not take risks realizing that with them, it is always a gamble. If one loses, they may lose big but, if they should ever win, then you already know the major gain. Great write.
