Dancing the two step with ghosts from another time,
drinking spirits of dead poets from glasses made of the cheapest plastic,
we partied until the early hours under a moon stained with blood
crying out for truth, we fed insatiably on lies
spreading propaganda like the smoothest cheese
swallowed in gluttony and glee
as champagne flowed from an open vein
and our feet never missed a beat
