I have spent the last half an hour
Staring at my little toe
And it has become the center of
My universe
I am deep in a meditative trance
Marveling at the magnitude
Of reality
Represented by that one little toe
It is the core of all
Mankind
The intrinsic truth in humanity
It is the yin and the yang
The up and the down
The inside and the outside
Of our entire belief system
It is love and hate
Need and pleasure
It is all I can think of at this time
However
Later I’m sure I will try to remember
Where this joint came from
And whether I can get any more
