Doesn’t’ matter, one of those towns
The ones we stayed in
Only long enough to wash our clothes
And clear our minds
Those traveling days were long and lazy
And the town was hot and dusty
Could have been Atlanta or Needles
But probably wasn’t either one
Point is, we were there
And so were the times
And the times were full of love
And laughter that had no end
I loved you like there was no tomorrow
And sadly, there really wasn’t
I left you there in that southern town
Or was it the far north east
Whether it was Fargo or Cheyenne
I know there will never be another town
Or another time, like the one we had
And I miss you like I miss the times
