I believe when I dance, I am in complete harmony with the universe and this is how I describe my dance performance in words.
With the wind singing to my feet,
moving swiftly gracefully as the deer,
rushing to and fro with the tide,
and bending like a Weeping Willow tree!
Jumping high with the gazelles,
to soar with eagles,
and descend gentle like a dove.
Now, moving East, West, North, and South
feet gyrating like pistons on a train.
To the beauty of Swan Lake,
and the joy of the Nutcracker,
the allure of Beethoven's Fifth!
I spend and twirl like a ballerina.
But the drums take me home,
to a distant place another time,
an ocean a continent away,
dancing to the beat of the bongos!
WOW! That is really all that I can say! I guess I can also take this time to say thank you for putting into words...PURPOSE
For some of us have been created to dance and BROTHER YOU ARE THE ONE!

I have seen you dancing and that poem is so you. You are swift on your feet and talking about moving East, West, North, and South that truly describes you. It's always a joy to see you moving to the beats. Wonderful poem very visual. Your poem has a lot of energy just like you.
