Watching people as they drank and sing.
Life to them somehow has lost its fame,
sniffing that dope gave up on hope,
needles in veins to hard to cope.
The strong mighty dollar kids the hollar,
in a dark world called make believe.
Strolling in a daze a confuse maze,
around their head oh what a haze!
Babies crying scream starvation,
can we help this dying nation?
Fear assailing mothers wailing,
all their hopes and dreams are failing.
Fathers confused paying of dues,
a lovely place so says the news.
Many answers sought everywhere,
in a cold dark world does anyone care?
Babies born of lust and scorn,
elders observe they cry ,weep , and mourn.
For they know the hope for the world,
a flag won't help as it unfurls!
Turbulances fly everywhere,
terror looms our throughfare,
volcanoes boom high in the air,
restless seas there wrath we share!
Tears hover briskly in the breeze,
birds perched down on their small knees.
People killing still unwilling,
void of love woe to that tilling.
Ships pounding at congested shores,
death the cargo people by the score.
Oh what has happened far above,
Father hear our cry a plea for love!
Again make us strong unity with strength,
no foreign enemy can make a dent.
In our structure, goals, our life,
God's our Master he handles strife!
Traveling thoughts and the four winds,
the greatest of empires fell from within.
I love deeply my life and child,
desiring always to see us smile.
Remember Anerica ' My Country Tis of Thee'?
The songs we sing for our liberty.
If we don't keep our people together,
we all will perish ceasing forever!
Be always safe,
Karen
