When our hearts our broken that is how we cry to the Lord. And if we are one of His children he will hear and defend us!

A word filthy spoken,

and a heart just broken.

An aching heart crying out

badly to you and me.

All this staying in your room,

cause your face shows the gloom,

of a heart yearning,

only to be set free!

The angels know above,

how I traded my heart for love.

Your memories taunt each night.

This soul cries for the light!

I will not be torn apart.

This lonely heart restored,

my blues heard by the Lord,

who heals all wounds with love.

Michael,
This poem moves me to tears. You have captured the horror and the sadness of having to live in fear and dread every day. No one can fully understand if they hadn't been through it themselves. Thank you for dedicating this poem to me, I am honored. This poem is going in my library, Michael. I will read it again and again, for the ending is awesome, when the lonely heart is restored. God can do anything! He shows us every day!!!! THANK YOU my friend for this poem!

Blessings and love,
~Linda
