The Storm

Storms are exciting makes one think at times the world is ending. We review our lives on flashback wondering what we contributed to truth and life!

This day I awake,

life anew I partake,

tempting not fate,

thanks the heavens shake!

Now the rain must fall.

And answer to its call.

Look higher and higher,

see the sky on fire?

Boom the thunder bangs,

accompanying the rain!

The bright light in the sky,

is similar to the eye!

Lightning crisp and clean,

to gaze it so serene,

elements together,

the fear seems forever.

Deep deeper we look,

to find the rruth we shook.

The mirrors in our mind,

will fade just give them time.

Beautifully flowing, inspirational piece. How many times do we frown when storms are approaching, yet they too are a part of us, bringing the needed water for all to survive....

I totally love storms, the lightening, the rain! I will stand on my porch and watch. I do have respect for it that I WILL go inside if the lightening gets too bad. I love rainy days and the serenity it brings. Thank you for this offering and for sharing!
