Dawns arrival breaks midnights
vice grip on darkness.
Its myriads of colors reminiscent
of a rainbow.
Yellow, burnt orange, purple, misty
blue overcast sky,
yet sparrows greet dawn's first
light with cheerful songs.
The Caltapa trees clipped
by morning breezes bow
patiently beseeching rain.
As hunmanity combats horrid
Amazon like temperature.
Perhaps before days end we're kissed
with rain like the Serengeti Rain Forrest,
blossoming bushes, blooming foiliage,
white lilies, read roses, and plush
carpeted green grass.

BEAUTIFUL poetry, you captured the early morning miracles perfectly. I have a humming bird feeder on my front porch and every morning I enjoy watching them. They are one of God's most magical creations. Excellent poetry, my brother and friend.
Blessings and Peace,
