Mother earth rebelled against us,
she cried her mouth opened wide,
an earthquake nearly engulfed a nation!
Mother earth's anger was immeasurable,
her appitite insatible,
and her fury shooked the world.
Ashes and white smoke lingers,
death stench rises horribly in the atmosphere.
The dead body count innumerable,
death is everywhere!
Haiti's spiritual leader crushed
in the rubble,
and the Capitol crubbled,
the United Nations building extinct!
Death's carnege no stranger to the world.
Death comes in myraids of torments.
Earthquakes, Tsunomies, Volcanic
eruptions, Cyclones, Munsoons.
Thousands upon thousands dead.
From the school house a child
was pulled from the debri, alive!
During this chaos a child was born,
I heard they named the baby Israel.
Israel, home of the baby's doctor.
The warmth of this little fragile body,
and glow from his vibrant bright eyes.
Reveals hope, mercy, forgiveness,
but most of all reconcilation
with God's overflowing grace.
All are images of God's salvation
and His irrevocable love!
Your words in the midst of tragedy can yet fill our hearts with so much love, hope and peace knowing that God is yet merciful. Keep writing my brother.
