Not in the mood for a downer, wait.
Won't blame you if you decide to
skip this. Would apologize, but
. . .have to write what we have to
write--? P e a c e, Phyllis

T i m e d

. . .opened this Pandora's box.
(no fool, she boarded the next jet)
. . .run around with our heads cut off
throwing rocks from glass houses (some threat).

. . .can't stop now, the lid is off
off go our guns and the latest tank
always summit for more patsies,
couldn't be we have ourselves to thank

. . .Someone opened this box, all right?
Why plague runs amuk; oil's crowned king
Why children stagger to their deaths;
let's caucus to see if we learn anything.

Hurry! Look for the lid!!
TOP. Find the TOP and jam it down!!!
Work hard enough, we can make it fit.
Question is, should it have a crown.

. . .doesn't matter who opened this Pandora's box
up to us to close it
. . .got to figure out how this clock cuts off
before it blows u--. . .

Awesome Phyllis:
What a provactive and intense poetic discourse. I like this rawness, this truth . . . bold and naked reality . . . Putting a lid on things that need to rise to the surface and spill over isn't always a good thing. Sometimes we free ourselves when we are able to "let it out," open it up and deal with it head on. Excellent delivery of "Timed."

always,
marion
