Holy Catnip, it’s that terror of a terrier
I beat the livin’ socks off.  Oh, dear.

Lie veeeeeery still, hammock won’t swing.
Lucky for me, mutt’s got the attention span
Of a flea.  Barker’s collar's covered in bling.
Makes it a snap to tell if. . he's gone.  Pfew!  

One more li’l nappy-poo, be good to go.
Got yarn to tangle, got a post to scratch.
Maybe I’ll dream again, and if so,
