Its breath-taking beauty swept me away. 4 A.M. wiping the sleep from my eyes, Orion and The Pleiades provided a familiar welcome, beckoning the return to chillier skies.

 

Grass cut, no longer high, 

Winter stars fill the sky, 

**Jupiter**

Shining bright,

Racing sight,

Reminds me of an excited e-mail I got last week with a picture that my high school classmate sent me of the nearest nebula taken on his new digital camera using his 16 inch personal telescope. His biggest concern is that one of those brightly shining meteors will be large enough to reach the ground.
