Up here, gliding,
an eagle I am Precision; Seeing

expansive,
searching,
witnessing what is-
the facts
felt, not seen
but from vast
lone,
isolation


may the integrity of my flight bring

understanding that comes from distance...
comprehension of and to
the power of humans
interacting

With falconet wisdom
and seraph cognizance,
may eagle and archangel
Uriel, lift from the living,
the soil and the forests,
the rocks and the sky,
the animals and humans
the gravity
of weighted down, sleeping, drinking, fighting, blaming
from humans who refuse to feel
but ignore the ways we keep hurting


Uriel's, archangel of knowledge and wisdom,
you stamina
please
bring forth the osprey of comprehension,
to dilate and fulfill
the bodies and their cravings
with affection, buoyancy
and forgiveness

All without which,
this world would have ceased existing long ago.


In the place of ruins,
the neglected mansion
in dreams I wander amazed
to find quarters
myriad, musty,
forgotten, dusty
regal, so many rooms left suddenly from war
each hosting candles, tapers on the tables
on the walls on the mantles, on the floor,
laced with golds and silvers,
waxes awaiting re-kindling.
This body a mansion, these centers awaiting dawning
to begin again
feeling seeing hearing
what Is rael

in each ancient thought chamber
I await you, my candle keeps flickering, dying, I keep asking
Please Alight this gloom
help me see what it is
that I'd done or not done
that turned into wind

Oh that we may
re-engage in Beholding with care
that we not be burnt by but rather be kept alive by
the sparks of the central sun
