nature, animals, curiousity, dreams,cave and Life of people in the Mountains.

Mountains would Dream

Could mountains dare dream of how it would be
to stand tall and peak inside the city?
Maybe, fold up into a cave so deep
or perhaps, spread an endless chasm to sleep.

As they, stand straight up to reach the sun;
check out the foxes and what makes them run.
How many animals they may enfold,
the many secret places where there’s gold.

Observe the birds that fly and where they go,
and people who visit and what they know.
Why the sea is salty and far away
where high waves slash on a hot sandy bay.

Admire the planets, stars and moon above,
and why men dug tunnels with dirt to shove.
Muse why trains run under and along side
which makes a thunder noise far and wide.

Why folk eat and drink the whole time they’re there,
and why they’re fascinated with the bear.
If marvel, as man climbs just what he sees;
why he’s careless with fire, and burns the trees.

So true, my friend. It boggles the mind why Man tries to ruin the beauty of Nature. Beautifully written.

Loved this write much...as I am from Kentucky a beautiful state filled with mountains that I thrive on. Actually my first book is titled Kentuck...The Mountains I Call Home. I wouldn't live any other place on earth. I do love to tavel and visit other places, but always am glad to make my way back home to the mountains...a wonderful tribute! Welcome to the den, glad I stopped by...
Blessings,
Joyce B.

Terrorforming Your Environment by RickthePoetWarrior

Never to leave well enough alone our attempts at managing our society, culture, and environment are recycled, re-used, and just generally regurgitated
