I have never met a stranger In new people I meet each day Every person that I see Is a new character on it’s way The lady at the grocery store Who spoke to me today May become important In a story or a play The homeless man on the street Bumming for some coins May become the hero In the story I have going The woman at the beauty shop Shares her life with me I’ll put it on the pages For all the world to read When I write a story Fiction it may be But each page is filled With real people like you and me. Often times I'll hear someone on public transport, or in a coffee shop, say just a few words. Out comes the book and pen, and a new poem begins.

But It can be dangerous too, if you do it near someone paranoid.

I write the same way, but I write a lot about people with disabilities because I believe they need to have a voice and a chance to succeed in life! Well done, Sherry!
