Thoughtless Words

Be careful when you speak,

Think of what you are about to say.

Sometimes unconsciously words spoken,

Can really upset a persons day.

When someone is there for you,

Each and every day,

To hear that you have no one,

That really hurts to hear you say

Consider the one you are talking to,

When you are feeling blue.

Sometimes what you say to them,

Makes them feel upset as you.

Especially if they have deep feelings,

In their heart for you.

The hurt goes in so deep,

Like a knife is sticking through.

I always try my best to remember,

Before I open my mouth.

How this person will feel,

When my words come out.

If you love someone,

Don’t tell them your heart is empty.

Or that you will be so alone,

It really hurts can’t you see.

Especially when

 That person,

 Is me.
