My interpetation of the picture

Eyes Of Desire by Kathy Lynn This Can not Be fulfilled In your life time For life is too short And man is too greedy Not to take more than he needs From all that is given freely While he can fulfill his eyes desire Putting out a heart that is unfired Often man is tempted by desires Doing him more harm than any good Make his onward path dark and dank Peace and joy lost to him now As he travels his path Alone unhappy He can now see Life can be Joyous Free (dble Etheree)

Such a strong message in so few words. You captured the essence of man's greed and how shallow it is when he discovers how cheap material possessions are compared to love.
