All my hormones taking flight
Give me flashes late at night
Soaking hair as I lay in bed
This menopause is really “dead”
Thicker middle, grayer head
It’s not growing older that I dread
It’s mood swings, sandals, cotton shirts
Can’t wear my blazers and nice wool skirts
Can’t use my make-up - just melts right off
Gotta pull my hair up, no more sexy coif
No lingerie ‘cause it’s too darned hot
Electric fans adorn my favorite spots
It’s a shame to be so much on fire
And it not include my heart’s desire
Plus all these wrinkles weren’t in my plan
So next lifetime, I think I’ll be a man
