CD? Not For Me

I’m still a CD holdout
Just got a thing for Vinyl
And I’m never gonna give it up
Believe me, THAT’S FINAL

Some of ‘em got scratches
That have been there so darn long
In the archives of my memory
It’s become part of the song

You don’t know what you’re missin’
‘Till you sit and take ‘em out
‘Cause you just “Can’t Get No Satisfaction”
From a CD “Twist n Shout”

And how about the covers?
Just ain’t the same in 5”x 5”
Have lyrics written large enough
I can still read ‘em with “two” eyes

Oh, and don’t forget the cool stuff
You got for “free” inside
Like a great big wall sized poster
In the album “12 x 5”

So don’t talk to me of clarity
And high-tech perfect sound
Just give me big, black, vinyl disks
And a player that goes ‘round ‘n ‘round
