Did you ever get something meaningless or silly stuck in your head that you just couldn't shake? It seems like it might just drive you mad, doesn't it!
Aye-Tally-Botte-Meedle-Bock Aye-Tally-Botte-Meedle-Bock What are these words I�ve said They�ve got my brain all in a lock �N keep messin� with my head They spurt out when I try to speak And wake me from my sleep They roar at me from rushing creek �N from �neath the laundry heap These words inside my head ingrain As they refuse to leave my thoughts The verbiage seems to be inane Like that of infant-tots Seems no matter what I try to do Or write or try to say These silly mixed up words of few Come quickly into play Aye-Tally-Botte-Meedle-Bock Has anyone a clue Their meaning or the way to block These words from thoughts anew Sherry Gail Heim September 26, 2003 Copyright � Sherry Gail Heim 2003

Could not resist the title and I have to say "ying tong yiddle - i - po"* Look, you've got me at it now.
This was good fun.
*The ying tong song was recorded by The Goons, Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan and Harry Seacome in the 1950s.

Methinks we all get words stuck in our heads just like when something's stuck in your throat and you can't get rid of it til it's good and ready to quit!this was very good Sherry, fun , but they can drive us batty too!;-)

through that, with a
silly song...Like
"Row row row your boat
gently down the stream" Oh goodness,

Yes dear Sherry sometimes my muse flips her wig and then I am bombarded with all kinds of repetitious thoughts just like these. They only make sense when she slaps me on my bald head and says: "no no no no no." Right Trixie? Such a cute poem. Bill

Hahahah Sherry this is toooo funny.... a few years back I was sitting on my porch and this came to me out of nowhere " a hip and a hop and a tally ho" and I said WHAT? what in the heck is that....LOL..and I ended up writing a poem about it...but where in the world do these things come from....this was great....fun.....floria.

Ara-tshara-bosca-neely-mohamud-het-die-vark-se-tit-ge-kie-lee...

A little rhyme we said to "INDIAN" people when we were kids....my grandma told us if you say that to an indian they will cut your throat...because you are playing the fool with their "GODS"..because they don't eat pork...and now you are telling them that their "God " are playing with piggie tits.....lol
Well I never got killed...so it must of been just a funny thing to say

But it has the same beat as your Aye-Tally-Botte-Meedle-Bock
