In another world, place, time am I
From the darkest corner of humanity
There are those who would try to destroy
My peaceful tranquility
Envy, spite, pride, and deeds
The yarn where my spirit hails
Rich in word, verbose tis true
My goal to spin a tale
True love, heartbreak, betrayal
Are but dreams in my minds eye
For I have never felt anything
Beyond the tears I cry
I give pause to those around
They cannot see me
For within their hearts I lie in wait
To feast on emotions symphony
They call me a demon, a festering sore
That I will not abide
Yet what else would you call me
Other than foolish pride
