Once upon a time . . .

Poem Artwork

Once upon a time – an emperor

on his clothes spent every dime

Expected all his subjects in the

kingdom to dig his threads.

One day a couple of hipsters

decided to fall-by in drag city

Laid a baby on the king – we’re

the coolest tailors in the land.

You’re going to have eyes for

this new invisible thread big

daddy – presented the nude

clothes; made for splitsville.

They collected the bread; the

emperor flipped – all subjects

had to carry barf-bags; big

daddy, you ain’t the most.

To say the locals were salty

would have been an under-

statement – man the king is

square, should wear a body wig.

The emperor ran to the weaver

Hey Jim, you got fleeced!  He

called the man – had the hipsters

arrested; threw them in the can.

The king bought a zoot suit; was

now in the groove, was dug by every

one – Moral: ‘A fine appearance is

a poor substitute for inward girth.’

I can see the response you have here regarding this poem, and I agree with your theory about inward beauty; but what I don't understand is that how some people would laugh at "nakedness" and make it seems like it's of something evil.

I don't understand it - If we only have to think back to Adam and Eve, they were both naked in the garden of Eden. No evil thoughts had even entered their minds until they bit the forbidden fruit and then evil thoughts were projected into their minds.

Therefore "Evil" ARE OF MAN-MADE, and "Nakedness" was only perceived as something "evil" by the thoughts of the people who have evil thoughts.

Nakedness is natural beauty, we have all come into this world being naked. Why are we all condemning nakedness and call it something evil?

Just my 2 cents opinion.
