My Poor Aching Back

A word for the wise.

Never sit in you chair
for over ten hours
It will make your poor back
feel like the twin towers.

When seduced by my writing
To spend much more time,
My back reminds me that
Sitting too long is a dastardly crime

It twists my poor spine
Way out of shape
And leads me to wearing
Either corsets or tape

Now,  I set an alarm clock
As a gentle reminder
So my poor back won't feel
Like its in a meat grinder.

apparantley they say, you must never sit down for more than ten minutes at a time...whoever they are......
I can sympathise with you on this one, I had a twinge that never went away...that is until I started doing exercise.......yes that dirty word.
Funny write, thanks.

I pity your poor back
you're a gentle fellow
hope your feet are on track
so your spine won't turn to jello!

Henry do we not get lost in our work...
can you imagine I even do art on here..
I have yielded to the pain patches...
they work...or making sure to get up and
walk around...the timer is a good idea..
So I guess you know I loved this poem..
thanks..enjoyed it..floria

I know the truth of your write, Henry. And I'm going to get up and go for a walk right now. Thanks for the reminder.
Best regards,
Leland

To say nothing of your fanny.

Love it, Henry. [smiles]
