Two thousand five
Is growing old
And so are we,
So I am told.
But Father Time
Has quite an edge
For he's not out
Upon a ledge.
Comes New Years Day
It seems, you see
He doesn't age
Like you and me
In fact, he'll change
From awful old
Into a little
Baby bold.
And start his
Joyous life anew
But would that work
For me and you?
No way, I fear
Down to the core
The errors we made,
We'd make once more
