The labor day blues are easy to lose. |

With Labor Day nearing
The lament I keep hearing
Is "What happened to summer."
No more vacation.
Gone is elation.
Oh that's really a bummer.
Yet, there is a bright side
That we should not deride
For there'll come that day
When summer returns
For which everyone yearns
And it's only nine months away.
