walking the path
along side the Wall
hours past midnight
beyond trees so tall
in a shroud of black
taking steps slowly
dark veil over face
this shrine is holy
carrying a candle
with nary any light
placing it on the ground
this dark moonless night
her black glove fingering
his name upon the Wall
