I traced the line of your chin,

How inviting they look!
I touched them so softly,

And smiled as you moved your head,

I brushed your hair away from your eyes,
And trace the line of your brow,
Your cheeks so firm and soft my love,
I kissed them on either side,

I kissed your lips and felt,
The breath from your heart,
How lovely and pure it is!
How sweet tasting!

I laid my head on your chest,
So very happy and at peace,
I heard your heart beating
Like the ancient drums,
Of my ancestors,
Calling me back to life…

How much your love,
Is reviving me,
Waking slumbering embers,
You set me aflame with such passion,
I want only to be near you,
To touch you,
To love you and feel your love
In the beating of the drum-
That echoes softly under my ear…
