My Dear Friend wrote this poem to me, and I wanted to share it with you, along with my response.

Come my dear friend
Let me take you away;
Into the fields of never ending dreams
Where the River of Peace runs
Through the Woods of Life...
Come, drink from it
Let it bring you the peace you need
Then, come and rest on the bed of clouds
That lies in the middle of weeping willows
And black roses,
...Let them take your pain away as you sweetly sleep...
...The wolf will watch over you in the night,
When you wake,
Your troubles shall be gone
And the memory of this place will stay with you forever...
Come, my dear friend
into the field of dreams
And the woods of life...


...My dear sister,
The wolf will watch over you while you sleep and dry your tears as you weep...

Sister Wolf


In the dark,
I have a friend,
Who stands by my side,
We run in the world together,
Seeking a path to some end…

Neither of us knows why,
Or where it will end,
But still we try…

Someone called us once;
“The Sisters Grim…”
And we laughed at them,
If they only knew…

We share the same scars,
My Sister Wolf and I,
We both try to find a reason to live,
When all we really want to do is,
Die…

We keep each other alive,
We have a pact you see,
Sometimes,
She teases me…
But I remind her softly;
“If you go,
I go…”

The Sister’s Grim,
They call us,
For our Dark Poetry,
But that’s not really true …

I am her Rainbow Colored Sand,
On the beach less ocean in her life,
And she is my Spirit sister,
The wolf spirit who keeps me alive…
