I woke up in the middle of the night and there it was. A bizarre encounter but beautiful at the end. No. It is not Arwen (Queen Evenstar) from Lord of the Rings... ...It is clearly Lerwyn.
Lerwyn
In the presence
Of this buffoon
Of a man
So full of himself
Arrogant
Insensitive
In close proximity
To this pompous ass
Although I am not
Prone to anger
I felt that monster
Stir
I closed my eyes
And when I opened them
I was bathed in the light
Of Lerwyn
I'm glad you stated it wasn't you, we all know you're not like this, but sometimes dreams are a nightmare type of thing to some people. I myself do dream mostly good, not many nightmares appear for me.
Isn't it wonderful how our dreams can take us away to such lovely places ... Lerwyn must have been quite beautiful as I'm sure she represents all that is good in our hopes and fantasies...she takes away the harshness of reality. Thought-provoking piece, as always. Hugs, Elizabeth

This one goes by me; I'm not well read in fantasy/myth books and haven't read The Ring since I was 11 - I didn't even see the movie! But I get the picture now that I now she's a she... Nice.

I need to comment here. This "man" person. This is NOT me. I'm not like that at all. People who know me will attest to that. I actually don't even like being labeled as a "guy." I am not at all like the man I met in this encounter.

I'm not familiar with who Lerwyn is, but I recognize a quality write when I read one...the descriptions used for the man in the piece are outstanding (although harsh and I certainly hope they are not being used to describe the author!) You are, and will undoubtedly always remain one of my favorite writers on the planet Reg...Love you, Michelle

I think most men could do with a visit an occasional from Lerwyn, when our arrogant, insensitive, angry side raises its ugly head. I believe my wife might concur.
I engage with the mystery of this, Regis... perhaps I am not alone in being totally iggo as to who Lerwyn is, but you captivate us with your honest account, told concretely, but permeated with awe at the power and supernatural-ness of this beautiful encounter. We would all take issue with how you appear to describe "yourself", but the fact that you are humbled by this divine Presence is sufficient to enfold us in the reverence of the moment. Whenever we need him/her, the Presence that speaks blessing and annointing on our soul is always manifestly there with us. Well indeed! Love, Kate xx
