Health Food

It's been said that health food's healthy.
There is sientific proof.
We can halt the ageing process,
To regain some of our youth.

I've heard it from the experts,
Who invite me just to look,
At the total information,
In their large expensive book.

Now they claim I will find listed,
All health foods from A to Zee,
And perfect health is truly mine,
If I follow faithfully.

There are grain's I never heard of.
Many plants I do not know.
There are foods I've never tasted,
Which only serves to show.

My shopping methods are all wrong.
No wonder I feel so old.
It's not too late to change my ways,
Since now I have been told.

Organic food's the way to go,
Just don't stop to count the cost.
For health regained can never be,
Considered as money lost.

Lack of vitamins and minerals,
So I hear the experts say,
Will give us that old wrinkled look,
As our hair all turns to gray.

I'd sure love to change my diet
Just to gain that younger look,
But I really can't afford it,
Since I went and bought the book.
