Grand Lady dropped her jewels today 

They fell from fingertips  

Across a pristine landscaped yard

and hedges neatly clipped. 

I watched as judges picked them up

intent of none to keep,

shoved anima in garbage bags

to mount a landfill heap.

No caution slows aesthetics’ whim

Razed woodland’s pulse subsides

and Nature bows her head to morn

For grandeur as it dies.

Survive could we with wild offense 

where tailored lawns unbound

leave Conifer's sweet offering

majestic on Her ground  

We spit into the open womb

With greed’s propensity

Till anguish births no more of us

In truth’s reality
