An ode to those little noises that happen at the most awkward of times!

Tummy Talk

Peacefully posed in our beds we just lie
That heavy old dinner we ate starts to "cry"....
Intestinal gurgles, whines, drips and babbles
As down through our systems the whole mess travels!
These sounds that we make just happen at will
Like while sitting in church being perfectly still
Or just when the dentist says "open your mouth"
That's when what you ate starts traveling south!
Perhaps it will happen as you're out on a date -
Maybe this person is your potential mate -
When all of a sudden your innards contort
So you deflect the attention by a sneeze or a snort!
Our innards betray us at such awkward times....
And I'm sure you've experienced this bodily crime!
Remember this fact - NOBODY's immune
From the embarrassment of the "intestinal tune" !

Hahaha!! Ain't it da truff, Pam, ain't it da truff. I think I was in my mid-twenties before I realized you pretty, sweet little girls had the same digestive tract as did I. (Well, actually I didn't think that, but . . . haha!)
