On November 28th, 1971, my only biological daughter, Sherry Elizabeth Turner, was born in Xenia, Ohio weighing 9 pounds, 11 ounces. This is dedicated to her on her birthday.

Happy Birthday Little Girl

Happy birthday, little girl!
As I hold you in my arms,
overwhelmed with love, your charms,
clearly you know I will be--
here and beyond--Mommy!

Happy birthday, dear daughter.
With you, God's fulfilled my dreams==
a son, a daughter--smiles stream.
Surely angels are on loan ...
you're both His ... not mine alone.

Happy birthday, earth angel.
I would sacrifice life, limb
if harm threatened.  But within,
God lives ... the choice is yours dear.
Everything on Earth dies here.


Happy bithday, little girl.
As you grow up, I grow old.
May our love never grow cold.
Mommy till the day I die.
