Life in 2020.

A new day means another chance
That previously felt a burden at a glance
Among many a 'No' hidden a few seldom 'yes'
Some bruises and many a 'hardships caress'
Those very words that pinched my heart
That forced my tongue and arguments start
It barely makes me bat an eye
Now all I do is breath and smile
Knowing whats mine is mine for sure
Hence, life tires me no more

Few new hiccups, and bumps in the road
That initially felt like a cumbersome load
Discouraging stares and hands that pull
The leaking buckets that drain the full
The scissoring words that cut my ears
They fed my anger and fueled my fears
Its all just background noise , dearth
They never really could dictate my worth
They held no power over me anymore
Hence, life tires me no more.

Wounds and scars from battles past
Changed my person, a shadow cast
The blame game lost, earned many scars
Shell of clay filled with iron from the stars
Blind to the status i was given at birth
I believed the weak, when doubt emerged
The faith it dwindled but burned anew
Found my smiles among people few
Let Allah in on all my affairs
As His advice is the most sincere
Paused, helped and didn't keep score
So now life tires me no more.

That old familiar body ache
It bends but rarely ever breaks
My faith, my patience often shakes
Labelled crackes from previous quakes

Content, this world became just four walls
Rode the high, dusted off the falls
Wash em out, no proof remains
Fresh page, new leaf, same old complaints
Same life, old me and a little less score
So life can't tire me no more.

You really let out all of the hurt that has been plaguing you all these years. I'm glad that you seem to have found a kind of comfort. Great rhyming and word choice.
