~ A Fine Memory ~
Tingling still upon my tongue, a sip of wine to savor,
A taste of Caviar, atop a baguette, eggs with capers.
French Rivera beaches, the Eiffel Tower’s view,
My unforgettable Paris, my sweet memorable you.
Touring Europe in spring, waylaying the year,
A choice easily made, for you… Paris Dear.
Roaming French countryside, you next to me,
My wild Paris flower, you’re a fine memory.
A new morning sun, reheats these old bones,
Remembering my first love, I left in Rome.
Hoping in daydreams, she might think of me,
My wild Paris flower, you’re a fine memory…
