 Lucid Dreams


While he sleeps among the dreams
She comes to him on moonlit beams
Doth touch his brow with gentle kiss
Though not awaken tender bliss

Sprinkles on his skin ere bright
To show in eyes her loving light
In his dreams he takes her hand
A gentle kiss ere touch doth land

Embracing touch of one anew
A knowing mind albeit true
Aye sayeth to I make thee whole
For truly both are but one soul

Upon her chest he lays tired head
In lucid dream where all is said
He harkens heartbeat never known
For greater love hath now bestowed

Lucid dream for thee hath touched
O’ gentle soul ere now thee clutch
All of that which come to thee
In lucid dream for thee to see

For naught is love thee lucid dream
Creation made so vividly
As moths cocoon in summer brings
From its own shell new breath doth spring

As sands o’ time they gently fall
Upon the mind of each and all
A mingling thought ere nary small
O’ dream my love you are enthralled

Beautiful poem! Dreams and fantasies are a healthy part of life, as long as one keeps a grasp on reality. They are an escape at times and have such a lovly view in this dream.

Your lucid dream is quite lovely. Unfortunately, the dream I had this morning is quite different. I was riding with a guy driving a huge garbage machine that was all electric. The old guy showed me how he turned it around from curb to curb and always made back to the barn without having to recharge.

So much for lucid dreams… ;-)

A beautiful hymn about deep and eternal love. What finds it's expression in the sentence "For truly both are but one soul". The oneness of souls that only can be found and felt between twin souls.
And to end this wonderful poem in a highlight of romance with the words "O'dream my love you are enthralled".

Wow! This is how I felt when I wrote "Transient Lover"!!! You have a way of putting a feeling across albeit lusty in such a gentle angelic ladylike way, yet ye can seem so provoking! Ye vixen sister!

My dear lady how well you paint such a dream. Your quote touches the fear of human nature regards to rejection. My dear lady Lily, my favorite line is

"As moths cocoon in summer brings
From its own shell new breath doth spring"

It speaks of renewal dear lady. I enjoyed this poem.
