If you are old enough to remember Roy Rogers singing "A Group Of Jolly Cowboys" this sings well to that, but I haven't actually gotten a tune for this song yet.

Heartbreak City BY LONDIS CARPENTER COPYRIGHT � 2005 There�s a place called Heartbreak City Where fallen lovers go. Whenever hearts are breaking Heartbreak city seems to grow. The broken hearts all gather In a secret place they know And when you left me darling That�s where I had to go Heartbreak City has its mysteries secrets that none can share Except heartbroken lovers Who come to seek its care And everyone who lives there Helps take care of their own Because broken hearted lovers Weren�t meant to stay alone I lived in Heartbreak City Its secrets there I learned I learned to mend the ache inside From where your love still burned So when you think about me dear Please don�t feel sad inside Don�t feel that you have wronged me When you cast my love aside Most broken hearted lovers Can mend on the rebound And I have found a new love dear Who�ll always stick around I�m doing very fine now The city healed my pain I finished with an old love And a new love I have gained

Londis I have been in heartbreak city for many years, because of a mother's lost love for me. But I have forgiven her, and have found love and accepteance in my family and friends. This is a very good work Londis, thnx for sharing.

I love this metamorphosis, Londis, and totally agree that it has an upbeat, swinging country feel and tempo to it. Nothing like using the obstacles of the past to turn into stepping stones to a brighter and more well-meant future. This is of great encouragement to those who perhaps are not able to see beyond the pain at the moment. I like the transition and the positivity - also the concept is good. Maybe you can find where Elvis is hiding and he can do a "Heartbreak city in the Heartbreak Hotel." It'd work for me. Good song, man.
