Going through my folders, I found this ditty which, although I’m not much into reposting, I thought it would be fun to share again, for your amusement. Hope it may give you all a smile, on this beautiful summer day! :0)

ABC of the Cataloging Maniac

Definitions, stereotypes…

Who fits here, but not there or perhaps if you stand back
and look from a certain angle could be… yes, oh, don’t you see?
Positive, sure, adamant
this is what they simply have to be
fit there, but not here
and don’t you dare arguing with me!

Stereotypes, definitions…

Cabinets, shelves and little drawers
absconded, absurd, abstruse, abstract
and… oh, you’re not even past the “A”
not even past abbreviated clues
to any advance, attainable, attentive, aware
of where it all begins to be… yes, “B”…
Confused? So, it’s already, clearly, “C”
cliché… could be… cast out in outcast
curves, contours, caliginous, calculated
to conceal what you are most sure you see
and not, definitely not, all that will ever be
available, just, to aptitude, acumen, achievement
of blatant, blunt, blimey if it’s not
clarity…

Definitions, stereotypes…

Why are they so dear, oh dear, dear lord
dear lady, dear you, dear me?
Riddle-Dee Dee?
Definitely… defy, deny, despair
and darn this daunting craze…
oh, you are going… back, it’s D,
it’s C, then B to A… again…
At this rate… R… no, it’s A, always,
as you are back in back space
to B… or not to be… anywhere
close to classifying, cataloging, cramming
those disheveled, devious, drop-me-dead
definitions
in shelve S for stereotypes…

See?!

i like those stereotype words and the way you put them together to make up this poetry is supberbly exciting and readable. I loved it and stuck with it til the end. Easy going on the mind, could follow you all the way. It's a great repost and super from you.

How much fun was this? WOW! And so superbly conceived too. I know exactly what you mean about reposting ...

It was good to hear from you again dear Alexandra. I pray that you and Joeseph are well. And I like your new bio-page and photo. I, too, hope that life and circumstance is the honey on the muffins for you, and not the burnt edges.
With love and warm regards ...
Richard
