different haiku I have writen

A column of clouds
Hiding the midday sun rays
A beautiful sight
Artwork of shadows and light
Changing with each gust of wind.

ominous warning -
crack of thunder
streaks of lightning

curiosity -
protected from the world
in a shell

Beautiful glass lake
Reflecting the night's moon light
While darkness surrounds

Black clouds over head
as the storm slowly rolls in
darkest before dawn

The sun setting low
paints the lake a red orange
disappearing rays

Calming, cool, and fresh
Water flowing down the stream
Listen to it speak

Icy cold water
Barren land reflected on
Calmness all around

Pink forget-me-nots
Petals are soft and fragrant
Hope they do the trick

summer night sky
one lone star brightly shining
shows North to all

A quiet stream flows
Geese, swans, and ducks are all near
A picturesque scene

Seagulls on the beach
Don't feed them Alka Seltzer
Let them live in peace

Looking out the door,
A beautiful scene outside
I hate to go home

Purple Violets grow
With birds and bees flying by
In the grassy field

A lone country bridge
crossing over a quiet stream
into the woods

Sunlight filtered down
Through trees with dense foliage
timid deer peek out

Smell the salty air,
Swim suit clad people sunning
Hear the waves crashing
Beautiful day for surfing,
If it was not so crowded

Butterfly Landed
With wings of blue, black, and green
On a log of brown

Snake slithering by
Weaving round and round the rocks
Body slender, sleek

Mangled, tangled roots
Erosion taking place by
ocean’s beating waves

Red, orange, yellow
Rainbow's colors in a row
long ago promise

pink wiggling nose
fluffy looking cotton tail
multiplying fast

stillness all around
surface dark, reflections show
sereneness abounds

Monarch butterfly
sitting atop the flower
as each bud opens

days grow warmer
spring approaches
time to get outside

flower blooms -
greeting morning light
purest white

Kat,

you're getting obsessed with haiku. She answers my email in haiku now without realizing it. You are getting very good at it. I'm still finding it strange to see haiku plural without an s but now I know why my spellcheck kept telling me I was wrong.
