 FRED THE FLYING FISH

Fred the flying fish,

Could fly through the sky.

He never liked the water,

He preferred staying dry.

Into the wild blue yonder,

Fred wings his way everywhere.

He’s an aviation expert,

Gliding with the currents that flow through the air.

Whenever he goes out,

He wears his goggles, scarf, and hat.

With aeronautical finesse,

He’s in his natural habitat.

He dips his wings and waves his fins,

It’s his way of saying, “Hi.”

People just stop and stare,

At a flying fish up in the sky.

He’s good at catching tailwinds.

He’s never been in a crash.

Whenever Fred the flying fish goes out,

He’s sure to make a big splash.

Fred’s always in the air, flying everywhere,

There’s just no stopping him.

But that’s because Fred the flying fish,

Has never learned how to swim.

Better flying fish, than frying fish. They are excellent swimmers, but I believe they fly to escape predator fish that come up into their schools and eat large quantities of them.

Flying fish forever!

Always with that characteristic twist at the end, just to add to the ongoing humor. Another gem, Michael. Keep them coming.

Delightful, Michael. Hopefully, many children (and adults as well) will get to read this. Love and peace to you,

Regis. 🍁
