The golden sun rises over an unbroken sky soaring condors ride the thermals and a chipmunk scurries from out of the undergrowth and my heart settles on what is to come sensing the delivery of the hand of fate
torrid heat and gentle zephyrs glide across my skin feeling remote and distant inside the tabernacle between soul and mind all is relevant every single thing counts
the touch of love is without any equal gilded lips of eternal bliss soft the leaves rustle within the canyon lost so deep in your mirrors of attraction
i came to you and answered your clarion call taught you the answers that you had always sought gave you the tools to meet any task seldom given seldom asked
I am there for you within the frame of dimensional concepts star filled skies lightening flash flowing rivers sunburst flowers misty eyes hooting owls chirping crickets howling coyotes croaking frogs passionate persistence bonds you and I
A holiness I felt reading these words put in such a beautiful art form! Vivid pictures I am seeing in my mind and hearing the sounds from your words written. Omniscient...God eternal Spirit!
Unpardon me but I relent it boldly;
For it is far ahead, if I can be sure of it,
And far it is, that my hallucination be valid,
And hallucination it is, as it should be,
And however, unlike itself, mysterious, unknown, and untested,
So it be foreseen in my tireless search.
your image is gorgeous, I hope to see this in person someday
and into your beautiful poetic offering transports me there
but too I feel as though I have been spoken to by God
& that is very amazing to say the least!
Beautiful title! I am transported through your words to this very serene setting and to the vivid images. There is a deep peacefulness within. Exquisite and a perfect place to end my evening. ~Best, Elizabeth
Now that's the Peter I remember. "All is relevant/every single thing counts", yes this is a lesson for me to live in the moment while not ignoring the lessons from the past. So beautiful! Saved. Hope you will grace us again soon...Lin

... Silent Flute indeed, Peter, and, like others below me, we ALL wonder how we missed this, if, indeed, we did, and have asked ourselves where your presence is gracing these days! :)) Thank you for lighting my page with your comments today and I hope you are well and continuing to receive, perceive and reflect truth and understanding wherever you're concentrated. As for this far-reaching and soul-stirring poem, I love the range, breadth and height of it and its sense of physical and spiritual liberation, all caught up in the wings of the fire of love. An eternal flame burns on this page. Bless you and Be well and fruitful. Love, Kate xx

Looks like the Grand Canyon.
Beautiful poetry, Peter.
Your poem, as well as the graphic each possess stunning beauty, Peter. I came to your den because I haven't seen a post from you for a while and wondered how you were doing. I hope you are well and that you will return to us soon.

Peter, I have so missed the wondrous excitement produced by reading the beauty of your words. I'm happy to once again be back at AD and able to take the time to appreciate your awesome work. Elizabeth
Peter, "The Silent Flute" is stunning.
As a reader, and admirer of your work I felt myself soaring.
I was there stanza after stanza filled with the lush imageries you shared.
Although not mentioned my mind also felt emotional textiles too, however as an artist you painted vivid colors against my memory.
Thank you, I consider this a bold, and powerful work of art,

Peter, I have been slacking on keeping up with your poetry, and for that I apologize. However, once again I was taken aback by the beauty of your words. Mesmerizing piece! Merry Christmas!
I was pulled in by the picture...then captivated by your words. The beauty of this poem lingers throughout...the ending...ahhhhh! enveloping! Beauatiful...beautiful. Peter, you have outdone even yourself with this one!
Peter, it is so good to read your words again! So much imagery is found in this piece..both subtle and vivid..well done! From beginning to end I was carried away in the words....
Once again Peter, you take the reader there, and not only to that place of"torrid heat and gentle zephyrs", but into the the depths of the mind and the very heart of romance. It doesn't get any better than this Poet.

You share so beautifully such passion of the eternal love that is unrestricted, unconditional and sometimes this kind emotion is the one that can so easily be unrecognised. Superbly crafted as ever dear Peter. Love and hugs, Panda :)
Awesome write, Peter. I'm glad to see someone else write poetry without puctuations. I do it too, thou have sometimes people have been critical about it, I still do it. EXCELLENT write.
The lute's music is heard by few. One needs to carry the respect of nature to hear it for Kokopeli stills plays in the in-between. I've missed your wisdom and messages Peter....a whole bunch!

SWeet write that has echoes of longing and love bouncing back and forth from one lint to the next until reaching that last fulfilling line..."bonds you and I".
Peter, you write in a wonderful style, always romantic with such vivid imagery, a gift to your readers from your soul. This is an outstanding example of your talent as a writer.
