Spiders She's a master in her craft Spinning a web of deception Never let's any one get by A sticky mess she has spun Patience is her game As she waits in the dark dampness Effortlessly she captures her man Then has him as a snack �HCD2005

OMGF... This reminds me of my oldie but a goodie poem on Spiders and being a prey toward man. Wow, I'm floored...Great poem and the wording you used Helen. I love spiders and the intricaticy of their webs they spin so thoughtfully! I do hope you have a chance to check my poetry sometime... and the spider poem - long and unique- is 1/2 way down... This is a very good write with insight into spiders. I'll tell you after having moved to Mexico; living there six months now, WOW have I come to appreciate spiders more but those nasty scorpions have got to go!:O)

Helen, I am terrified of spiders, but also am spellbound by them. They scare me to no end, but they are remarkable in nature.
