Soldier of the Future
I am the soldier of the future along with my golden charm
We fight hard to keep the rabbits out of Mom's garden
Dad told me to keep Mom and brother safe while he was gone,
He had to keep our country from harm.
I received this nifty gun
Dad said is was a resemblance of what he has
I can kill ants in a "splat"!
And the rabbits, they sure hop when I'm having fun.
Before I go to bed each night
I clean my gun and beside me it rests
Dad said that I had to be ready
To believe in my country and to fight.
At the foot of my bed is my golden charm
He's always there with me
To help protect us all
And to keep me from harm
